Why are is Twist & Shake not open all year?

This can be answered in two parts. First, we do not sell enough ice cream in the winter to justify staying open all year. Second, the owners need a break.

Can I split a Kiddie Cone?

We train our staff that a kiddie cone is designed to be one scoop of just one flavor. If you desire two flavors, please consider ordering a small ice cream.

Why are Nuts extra? Or Why are nuts not included on our sundae?

We no longer automatically add nuts to our sundaes because of the increase in nut allergies. To keep our prices low, we have decided only to charge if the customer orders nuts. At almost $200 for a case of walnuts, we can’t give them for free.

Why are your soft serve prices the same as scooped ice cream?

We use a high quality ice cream mix that some folks use to make their scooped ice cream. Our soft serve is super creamy – try it – you will not be disappointed.

Why are your prices so high?

As minimum wage increases, so does the cost of our ice cream and other products required to provide you with exceptional customer service. We choose not to cut corners rather provide the best product at the best price.
